As someone who has spent countless hours exploring the catacombs of Paris, I can attest to the authenticity and atmosphere Lee Mountford has captured in this audiobook. Hannibal Hills' narration perfectly complements the story, with his ability to convey the fear and unease of Sarah Pearson as she descends into the depths. The pacing is masterful, keeping listeners engaged and on their toes throughout the 9-hour journey. One critique I have is that the story could have benefited from more character development, as it can be difficult to connect with Sarah's struggle at times.
