Head Like a Hole

Listening to Head Like a Hole was like stumbling into a long-forgotten attic, filled with dusty relics of my youth. The story is a slow burn, building tension like a horror film, with a plot that's as twisty as a '90s music video. Jordan's narration is a highlight, his voice perfectly capturing the disaffected youth of the era. He imbues even the most mundane dialogue with a sense of dread, making every word feel charged with meaning. The pacing is deliberate, allowing the atmosphere to build like a storm on the horizon. My only critiques are that some of the supporting characters feel a bit one-dimensional, and the ending feels a tad rushed. But these are minor quibbles in an otherwise outstanding audiobook experience.
