Hell on High Heels

I was hooked from the start by the clever premise and the narrator's engaging performance. Andrew Pond's Psyren is a delight, balancing vulnerability and sarcasm perfectly. Ellory Lane's heroes are equally entertaining, their pompousness and cluelessness shining through in every line. The pacing is spot-on, with just the right balance of action, dialogue, and internal monologue. My only critique is that some of the world-building could have been more fleshed out, but it's a minor issue in an otherwise fantastic listen. This audiobook is a must-listen for fans of superhero stories with a twist.
