Hold the Line

I was hooked from the get-go with Hold the Line. The concept of secret alien invasions is intriguing, and Henegar's execution is brilliant, keeping me on the edge of my seat. Daniels' narration is outstanding, making each character distinct and engaging. He masterfully captures the humor and tension, making the listening experience immersive. The pacing is excellent, with a good balance of action, dialogue, and exposition. My only critique is that some of the alien species descriptions could have been more detailed, but that's a minor quibble in an otherwise excellent listen. I highly recommend this audiobook to anyone looking for a fresh, exciting take on the first contact trope.
