David Winter’s performance is the reason *I Am Jeff* works as well as it does. His deadpan, exhausted tone nails the humor without ever veering into caricature, making Jeff’s relentless misery feel like a workplace parody you’ve lived through. The supporting cast deserves praise too—each wish request gets a distinct vocal treatment, from a sleazy CEO to a conspiracy theorist, which keeps the scenes fresh even when the jokes start to blur together. The pacing is tight, though I wish the final act had spent less time on Jeff’s existential spiral and more on the collateral damage of his wishes. That said, Moore’s satire lands hardest when it skewers the banality of corporate life, and Winter sells every eye-roll-inducing moment. My only real critique? The wish scenarios occasionally feel repetitive, recycling the same punchlines without enough escalation.
