As an avid listener of psychological thrillers, I devoured 'I Came Back for You' in a single sitting, unable to tear myself away from the story's dark, twisted world. Sarah Naughton's narration was a key factor in my engagement, bringing a depth and emotional resonance to the characters that made their struggles feel all too real. I particularly appreciated the way Naughton captured the mother's rage and vulnerability, making her a complex, relatable protagonist. If I have any criticisms, it's that the supporting cast sometimes feels underdeveloped, with certain characters feeling more like caricatures than fully fleshed-out people. Additionally, the pacing can feel a bit uneven at times, with some sections feeling a tad too long or meandering.
