When he delivers lines like *“I dreamed your laugh before I heard it,”* it doesn’t feel performative; it feels like he’s recalling his own memory. The production is pristine, with no distracting background noise, letting Avery’s sparse, evocative text take center stage. That said, this isn’t a book for everyone. If you’re looking for plot, character arcs, or even a traditional narrative, you’ll be disappointed.
