What won me over was his refusal to let listeners off the hook with vague ‘pray about it’ advice. Instead, he demands *immediate*, bite-sized commitments—like texting one discouraged person this week or memorizing a single verse to share. It’s refreshingly *un*-spiritual in the best way: no grand visions, just doable steps. Sarris’ narration is the audiobook’s secret weapon. His pacing mirrors Rainer’s no-nonsense style—slow enough to let the challenges land, but never dragging. That said, the production occasionally suffers from uneven audio levels; a few phrases get lost when Sarris lowers his voice for emphasis. And while the brevity is a plus, I wished for more real-life stories to balance the directives—testimonies of how these ‘I will’ statements played out in messy, real scenarios.
