As an audiobook editor, I was struck by the way Jack Nolan brings the often-mysterious world of Irish mythology to vivid life. His voice is perfectly suited to the task, with a natural rhythm and cadence that makes even the most convoluted historical events feel easy to follow. One of the standout moments for me was the section on the Tuatha Dé Danann – Nolan's evocative narration conjures a rich, immersive world that's impossible to resist. If I have one quibble, it's that the production occasionally falters in the more technical sections, where the pace feels a little rushed and the narration a tad less engaging.
