I also loved the sly modern updates: Jack isn’t just eating pumpkins; he’s *“vlogging his feasts”* and *“trending with beasts,”* a nod to kid culture that feels organic, not forced. That said, the brevity *is* a double-edged sword. The story ends just as the world feels ripe for exploration—what *are* these “beasts”? Where’s the pumpkin farm?—and the lack of a proper climax (it’s all setup) might leave some kids blinking. The sound design, while clever, occasionally clashes with Raymond’s rhythm; a *boing* effect in the second stanza steps on her delivery of *“sproing!”*, a rare misfire in an otherwise tight production.
