Legions

I devoured Legions in a single, thrilling sitting - a testament to the engaging narrative and crisp narration. Wisniewski and Woods expertly convey the tension and urgency of Sal's quest, with Wisniewski bringing a suitably rugged edge to the protagonist's voice. The story's pacing is well-balanced, hurtling through action sequences and slowing just enough to let the world-building breathe. If I have a quibble, it's that some of the supporting characters feel a tad underdeveloped - but this is a minor complaint in an otherwise propulsive narrative. My other criticism is that the production could benefit from more nuanced sound effects to really bring the demonic tech to life. Still, Legions is a gripping addition to the fantasy genre.
