I was immediately drawn into the intricate world Medrano has created, with its unique blend of post-apocalyptic grit and fantastical elements. The story is a captivating mix of political intrigue, action-packed battles, and tender love scenes that will leave you breathless. Goer's narration is a true highlight, her ability to distinguish between characters and convey their emotions making the listening experience all the more engaging. However, at times, the pacing felt a tad slow, particularly during the extensive political discussions.
