The pacing is relentless, which mostly works—this isn’t a book to zone out to. But that’s also my critique: the lack of breathing room means some concepts (like the ‘memory palace’ method) get glossed over too quickly for true beginners. And while the science is solid, the audiobook skips citations entirely, which might frustrate skeptics. Still, the production is polished, with no distracting edits or volume spikes. For anyone who’s ever blanked on a colleague’s name mid-handshake, this is the audio equivalent of a defibrillator for your recall—jarring, effective, and over before you can forget it.
