Little Girls Sleeping: An absolutely gripping crime thriller

I was hooked from the very first chapter. Jennifer Chase's writing is crisp and engaging, with a unique ability to paint vivid pictures with words. The story is a gripping cat-and-mouse game between Detective Scott and the kidnapper, with enough twists and turns to keep you guessing until the very end. Lisa Rost-Welling's narration is exceptional, bringing depth and emotion to each character. She expertly captures the tension and fear, making you feel like you're right there with Detective Scott. My only critique is that some of the secondary characters could have been more developed, but that's a minor quibble in an otherwise outstanding audiobook.
