Lovely War

As someone who enjoys delving into historical narratives with a touch of romance, I found Lovely War to be a delightful auditory escape. The talented ensemble of narrators brings each character to life, with their distinct accents and inflections making it easy to immerse myself in the story. Julie Berry's imaginative storytelling, coupled with the superb narration, creates a seamless listening experience. However, I found the pacing to be a tad slow in some parts, which may not suit listeners looking for a brisk, action-packed narrative. Nevertheless, the enchanting world created by the author, combined with the exceptional narration, makes Lovely War a must-listen for fans of historical fiction and young adult literature.
