The production is seamless, with no distracting background noise or awkward transitions. However, I found the pacing a tad slow in the early chapters, but once Gingeras hits his stride, it's a gripping listen. I also wish there were more personal anecdotes or interviews to break up the heavy historical narrative. That said, this audiobook is a must-listen for anyone curious about the hidden forces that have shaped our world.
