About This Audiobook

Eryn Scott's 'Matcha Do About Murder' is a delightful whodunit that serves up a steaming cup of intrigue with a side of small-town charm. Rosemary Woodmere, our amateur sleuth, is as warm and inviting as the coastal town she calls home, but don't let her sweet demeanor fool you - she's sharp as a tack and not afraid to stir the pot. This isn't your grandmother's cozy mystery; Scott infuses her story with a modern edge, tackling contemporary issues with a light touch. Jennifer Jill Araya's narration is the cherry on top, bringing Rosemary and her quirky cast of suspects to life with a voice as smooth as the matcha that starts it all.

Editor's Review ★★★★☆

AudioBook Atlas

I was hooked from the moment I heard Rosemary's name - it's not every day you meet a sleuth with a name that sounds like a Shakespearean character. Jennifer Jill Araya's narration is a perfect fit, her voice as soothing as a cup of matcha yet capable of conveying the tension that builds as Rosemary unravels the web of secrets in Pebble Cove. The pacing is spot on, with just the right amount of time spent on character development and plot twists. Scott does an excellent job of weaving together a compelling mystery with a touch of romance and a dash of social commentary. My only critique is that I wish we'd spent a little more time exploring the town's history and its connection to the feuds that drive the plot. But overall, 'Matcha Do About Murder' is a captivating listen that will leave you eager for more of Rosemary's adventures.
