Merman Rising

As an audiobook listener, I often find myself craving stories that are as unique as they are engaging. Merman Rising checked both boxes and then some. Sean Kamen's narration is nothing short of exceptional. He masterfully captures the essence of each character, from Delphin's innocent curiosity to the cold, calculating tones of the pod's leader. The pacing is steady, allowing the listener to fully immerse themselves in the intricate world Kaminsky has created. However, I must admit, the story's political machinations could have been a tad more streamlined. That said, it's a minor critique in an otherwise outstanding listen. This audiobook is a must-listen for fans of LGBTQ+ romance, unique world-building, and exceptional narration.
