As someone who enjoys both science fiction and young adult novels, I found Mindbreaker by Kate Dylan to be an enthralling listen. Stephanie Cannon's narration is a standout feature, with her ability to convey Indra's vulnerability and determination with just the right inflections and pacing. One aspect that I particularly appreciated was the balance between action and introspection. While the story is filled with thrilling sequences and well-crafted technological elements, Dylan also takes the time to explore Indra's internal conflicts and growth, making for a more rounded and emotionally engaging experience. That being said, I did feel that the climactic confrontation could have been more extended, as it felt slightly rushed, leaving me wanting more. Overall, Mindbreaker is a captivating audiobook that I would highly recommend to fans of science fiction and young adult literature.
