I was hooked from the get-go with 'Mister Monday'. Allan Corduner's narration is exceptional, capturing the essence of young Arthur's confusion and determination as he navigates this new, dangerous world. The story moves at a breakneck pace, with Nix expertly balancing action, mystery, and character development. The steampunk-inspired details of the Upper House are a delight, and the time manipulation aspect is refreshingly original. My only critique is that some of the political intrigue could have been a bit clearer, but it's a minor quibble in an otherwise engaging listen.
