Editor's Review ★★★★☆

AudioBook Atlas

I was drawn into 'Mockingbird' from the first touch, pardon the pun. Wendig's writing is like a punch to the gut, visceral and unapologetic. Miriam's struggle feels real, her pain palpable, thanks in no small part to Emily Beresford's exceptional narration. Beresford's voice is a perfect fit for Miriam, capturing her strength and vulnerability in equal measure. The pacing is excellent, balancing tension and revelation with a steady hand. My only critique is that some of the supporting characters could have been more fully realized, but this is a minor quibble in an otherwise outstanding audiobook.
