Money

As someone who enjoys a bit of dark humor, I was drawn to Money by Martin Amis, and I must say that Steven Pacey's narration only added to the experience. Pacey's British accent and impeccable timing brought John Self to life, making his struggles and excesses all the more relatable. While I found the story to be a bit slow at times, the satire and social commentary were worth the wait. Money provides a thought-provoking and often humorous look into the human psyche, and I would recommend it to fans of literary fiction and those who enjoy exploring complex themes. Pacey's performance certainly elevates the listening experience and makes for an enjoyable journey through Amis' world.
