As someone who's always been curious about the invisible strings pulling the levers of power, I found Money, Lies, and God to be an absolute revelation. Stewart's writing is meticulous and engaging, and Rodriguez's narration is nothing short of excellent. She masterfully navigates the dense material, bringing a sense of drama and tension to even the most complex explanations. The pacing is steady, never bogging down in detail but also never rushing through important points. My only critique is that at times, the sheer volume of information can feel overwhelming, but this is a minor quibble given the breadth and depth of Stewart's research. I also would have appreciated a bit more context on the historical roots of some of the movements Stewart discusses, but overall, this is a remarkable listen that has truly expanded my understanding of the forces shaping our world.
