Nasty: Complete Series

As an editor, I went into Nasty: Complete Series with a mix of curiosity and trepidation - would Jordan's blend of business and bodice-ripper hold up to scrutiny? My verdict: a resounding yes. Vanessa Kitchens' narration is a key part of what makes this series work, bringing Amber's sharp wit and sass to life in a way that's both authentic and addictive. I particularly loved the way Kitchens handled the pacing, expertly ratcheting up the tension as the series hurtled towards its steamy conclusion. If I have one critique, it's that a few of the supporting characters feel a bit one-dimensional - I would have loved to see more depth and development in some of the secondary cast. Still, this is a minor quibble in an otherwise scorching hot listen.
