As someone who enjoys both fantasy and thrilling mystery stories, I was immediately drawn into Necromancer Academy: Book 1. From the very beginning, Alyse Gibbs' narration captivated me with her ability to bring the characters and world to life. Her voice is rich and expressive, and she flawlessly conveys the tension and emotion of the story. I found myself fully immersed in the dark, magical world that Lindsey R. Loucks has created. However, I did feel that some of the character development could have been more fleshed out, particularly for the secondary characters. Additionally, I would have appreciated a few more moments of levity to balance out the intense plotline. Despite these minor critiques, Necromancer Academy: Book 1 is a captivating audiobook that I would recommend to fans of fantasy and mystery.
