Nero's Fiddle

I was immediately drawn into 'Nero's Fiddle' by the unique premise and Exley's engaging storytelling. Dawson's narration is a joy to listen to, her voice perfectly capturing the spirit of the Victorian era while bringing a modern sensibility to Cara's character. The pacing is excellent, with just the right balance of action, intrigue, and character development. The story takes some unexpected turns, and while I won't spoil them here, I will say that they make for a compelling listen. My only critique is that some of the steampunk jargon can feel a bit heavy at times, but it's a minor quibble in an otherwise excellent audiobook.
