Editor's Review ★★★★

AudioBook Atlas

As a seasoned listener of mystery and thriller audiobooks, I was hooked from the opening pages of No Place to Hide. Heather Daniel's narration is exceptional – she brings a depth and nuance to the characters that's hard to find in many narrators. Her performance is particularly effective in conveying the emotional turmoil that Jenny experiences as she's drawn deeper into the mystery. One of the things that sets this story apart is its thoughtful exploration of the long-term effects of trauma, and how it can subtly warp relationships. My only minor quibble is that some of the supporting characters feel a tad one-dimensional, but this is a minor complaint in an otherwise gripping narrative.Overall, No Place to Hide is a thought-provoking and unnervingly suspenseful listen that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end.
