Listening to Nonbinary feels like being invited into P-Orridge's living room for a late-night chat. Hampshire's narration is spot-on, capturing P-Orridge's distinctive cadence and infusing the story with an intimate, almost conspiratorial tone. The pacing is excellent, allowing P-Orridge's experiences to unfold naturally, from their early days in the industrial music scene to their transformative exploration of gender. The only critique is that some of the more philosophical musings could have been edited for clarity, but overall, this is a compelling, thought-provoking listen. It's not just a memoir; it's a manifesto for living authentically.
