Nuclear Summer

As I listened to Nuclear Summer, I found myself drawn into the harsh world that TD Barnes has created. The author's ability to evoke a sense of atmosphere and tension is impressive, and Virtual Voice's narration does a great job of bringing the story to life. My only criticism would be that the supporting characters feel somewhat one-dimensional at times, lacking the depth and complexity of the main protagonist. The pacing is generally well-balanced, with a good mix of action, suspense, and reflection. However, some scenes feel a tad rushed, which can make it difficult to become fully invested in the characters' fates. Overall, Nuclear Summer is a compelling listen that will appeal to fans of post-apocalyptic fiction and war dramas.
