One-Handed Catch

Ryan Sparkes' narration is truly a highlight of this audiobook. His ability to convey the emotions of a young boy facing significant challenges without overacting makes 'One-Handed Catch' a standout experience. The pacing is well-balanced, allowing for moments of quiet reflection as well as dynamic storytelling. Sparkes particularly excels in portraying Norm's determination and resilience, which are central to the narrative. However, there’s one minor critique: some of the background sounds could be clearer during action sequences, slightly detracting from the immersion. Despite this, 'One-Handed Catch' remains a powerful and moving audiobook that deserves a place on any child’s listening list.
