Daniel Weyman’s narration elevates 'One of Us Is Dead' beyond a mere audiobook; it becomes an auditory experience that captivates from the first whisper. His portrayal of Roy Grace is both authoritative and empathetic, perfectly matching James’ meticulous character development. The pacing is excellent—tense and relentless, mirroring the escalating danger Grace faces. However, at times the rapid-fire dialogue can feel slightly overburdened, perhaps a hint too much information being conveyed at once. Despite this minor critique, Weyman’s performance ensures listeners are hooked until the final moment of suspense.
