Party Games

I was hooked from the get-go. Thomas's narration is a treat, each character unique and engaging. He handles the tension beautifully, his voice dropping to a whisper when the story leans into the eerie. The pacing is excellent, Athan expertly building suspense, keeping you on the edge of your seat. The story is a slow burn, but when it finally ignites, it's explosive. My only critique? I wish Athan had delved a little deeper into the characters' backstories. But that's a minor quibble in an otherwise gripping listen. This is a perfect audiobook for those long, dark nights when you want to be scared, but also want to feel cozy under your blanket.
