Editor's Review ★★★★

AudioBook Atlas

As someone who has always been fascinated by the complex legacy of Pete Rose, I found this audiobook to be a gripping and enlightening listen. Ben Bartolone's narration is top-notch, with a perfect balance of energy and emotion that perfectly complements the story. He captures Rose's charisma and intensity, making it easy to understand why the player was so beloved by fans. However, I did feel that the audiobook could have delved deeper into the consequences of Rose's actions, particularly in relation to his lifetime ban from baseball. While the production quality is excellent, I found the pacing to be a bit rushed at times, which took away from some of the more poignant moments. Overall, though, Pete Rose is a must-listen for any baseball fan or anyone interested in the human story behind one of sports' most polarizing figures.
