I went into Pretty in Plaid with high expectations, and Jamie Heinlein exceeded them. The way he navigated Lancaster's sarcastic humor and poignant vulnerability was nothing short of impressive. I particularly appreciated how Heinlein handled the more emotional moments – his gentle touch allowed the listener to connect with Lancaster on a deeper level. That being said, there were a few instances where Heinlein's tone felt slightly inconsistent, veering too quickly from humor to pathos.
