His pacing is deliberate but never sluggish, and he nails the tone: imagine Carl Sagan if he’d hosted a true-crime podcast about electrons. That said, there are two stumbles. First, the chapter on quantum computing feels rushed—Silva glosses over practical applications in a way that left me wanting more (or at least a recommended reading list). Second, Busenius’s pronunciation of *‘Heisenberg’* wavers between the German and anglicized versions, which became distracting in a section already dense with new terms. Still, these are quibbles. The production is clean, the examples are vivid (I’ll never forget the ‘quantum eraser’ analogy involving a flashlight and a cat burglar), and by the end, you’ll stare at your coffee cup wondering if its molecules are *also* existing in parallel universes. For the curious but math-averse, this is the rare science audiobook that’s as entertaining as it is enlightening.
