About This Audiobook

Reading Between the Crimes is a gripping tale that blurs the line between fiction and reality. When a book club's discussion of Agatha Christie's 'Crooked House' coincides with a real-life murder echoing the novel's plot, listeners are in for a thrilling ride. Kate Young's debut novel is a clever blend of cozy mystery and psychological suspense, set in the charming yet eerie town of Sweet Mountain, Georgia. Dina Pearlman's narration brings the story to life with her ability to capture the Southern drawl and the tension that builds as the plot thickens.

Editor's Review ★★★★

AudioBook Atlas

As an audiobook listener, I was immediately drawn into 'Reading Between the Crimes' by its unique premise. The story is cleverly plotted, with red herrings and twists that kept me guessing until the very end. Dina Pearlman's narration is a standout feature of this audiobook. She masterfully differentiates characters, capturing their distinct voices and personalities. The pacing is excellent, building suspense and tension at just the right moments. However, I found some of the secondary characters a bit underdeveloped, which slightly detracted from the overall impact. Nevertheless, this is a minor critique in what is otherwise a highly engaging and enjoyable listen.
