Ready Player One [German Edition]

I went into this audiobook expecting a fun, nostalgic ride, and Ready Player One delivered in spades - but what I didn't expect was how thought-provoking it would be. Cline's exploration of the tension between escapism and reality really resonated with me, and Nathan's narration helped to bring out the emotional depth of the characters. My only quibble is that the audiobook could benefit from a bit more separation between the different storylines - at times, it felt like Nathan was juggling multiple plot threads simultaneously, and I had to concentrate a bit harder to keep up. Still, the payoff is well worth the effort: this is a story that will keep you guessing, enthralled, and maybe even inspire you to dust off your old gaming consoles.
