Listening to Reap felt like being pulled into a slow-burning wildfire—I knew things would eventually combust, but I couldn’t look away. Kendall Taylor and Jeremy York split the narration duties with sharp precision: Taylor captures the protagonist’s vulnerability and quiet defiance with a voice that’s both intimate and resilient, while York channels the Sinners’ rough-edged charm through a layered, gravelly tone that somehow manages to be seductive and threatening at once. The dual narration elevates the tension, especially during overlapping scenes where emotions clash like thunder. The pacing is deliberate—sometimes too deliberate—especially in the middle stretch, where repetitive internal monologue slows momentum. And while the three love interests are distinct in voice, Zach occasionally slips into clichéd bad-boy territory without enough depth to back it up. Still, the final act delivers a satisfying punch, blending emotional payoff with just enough suspense to keep your pulse up.
