As a listener, I was immediately drawn into the world of 'Red'. Virtual Voice's narration is top-notch, with a voice that's as smooth as the Nevada desert and as enticing as the city lights of Vegas. The pacing is spot on, keeping the tension high and the romance sizzling. I particularly enjoyed the way D'Arc handled the reveal of the protagonist's true nature - it was a genuine 'aha!' moment that had me hitting rewind. However, I must admit, the secondary plot involving a rogue werewolf felt a tad rushed towards the end. Despite that, 'Red' is a compelling listen that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to fans of paranormal romance seeking a fresh take on the genre.
