Where this audiobook *shines* is in its brutally honest takes on industry norms. Vest skewers the ‘compliance equals security’ myth and pushes listeners to ask: *How would an attacker actually break this?* The production quality is clean, though the lack of chapter markers in some audiobook platforms makes navigating back to specific techniques a hassle. If you’re a defender who’s never worn a red team hat, this will rattle your assumptions. If you’re already in offensive security, it’s a solid refresher with a few fresh angles. Just don’t expect hand-holding—or a soothing narrator.
