Regarding the Duke

I was thoroughly enthralled by Regarding the Duke, largely due to Marian Hussey's exceptional narration. Her ability to convey the intricate emotions and inner turmoil of the protagonist, Gabriella, is truly impressive. The way she handles the darker aspects of Adam's character is equally commendable, making him a multidimensional and intriguing figure. One area where the story falters slightly is in its handling of certain supporting characters, who sometimes feel a bit one-dimensional. Additionally, the pacing can be a bit slow in the middle sections. However, these minor quibbles are easily offset by the richly detailed world-building and the complex, often fraught relationship between the leads.
