Hoden’s performance is a mixed bag. His pacing in dialogue-heavy scenes is excellent—he nails the snarky back-and-forth—but his transitions between characters occasionally blur, especially in group exchanges. The production quality is clean, though the abrupt ending (a hallmark of short-form romance) might frustrate listeners who prefer closure over cliffhangers. What saves it is the sheer *energy*: the rodeo scenes crackle with authenticity, and the sexual tension is palpable enough to distract from the thinner plot points.
