As someone who's always been fascinated by history, I found Revolution Is Not a Dinner Party to be an absolute gem. Jodi Long's narration is outstanding, perfectly capturing the voice of a young girl navigating a complex world. She masterfully portrays Ling's confusion, fear, and resilience as her once-peaceful life is upended by the political storm around her. The pacing is spot-on, building tension and emotion without feeling rushed. However, I did find the ending a tad too neat, given the harsh realities of the historical context.
