Gregory Dwyer's narration is the star of the show here. His deep, resonant voice lends an authenticity to the story that's hard to beat. He captures the essence of each character, from the hardened bushranger Captain Starlight to the naive young Dick Marston, with a skill that's truly impressive. The pacing is spot-on, building tension and excitement as the heists unfold. However, some of the descriptive passages can feel a bit dense at times, which might slow down more casual listeners. Overall, though, 'Robbery Under Arms' is a thrilling, unpolished gem of Australian literature that's well worth a listen.
