Ruins

I devoured Ruins in a single sitting, drawn in by the chemistry between Samuel and the dragon. Joel Leslie's narration is superb, bringing nuance and depth to the characters. The pacing is well-balanced, with a good mix of action, dialogue, and introspection. One area where the production could improve is in the occasional awkwardness of the world-building explanations, which sometimes feel a bit info-dumpy. Additionally, some of the supporting characters feel a bit one-dimensional, but this doesn't detract from the overall impact of the story. Overall, I was impressed by the audiobook's production quality and Leslie's engaging performance.
