I found myself completely engrossed in Ruthless Game, thanks in large part to Nicol Zanzarella's outstanding performance. Her ability to convey the fear and confusion of rookie cop Alex Kincaid was nothing short of masterful, making it easy to empathize with the protagonist throughout her harrowing journey. Girard's writing is sharp and engaging, with plenty of unexpected twists and turns that kept me guessing until the very end. However, I did feel that some of the secondary characters could have been more fully developed to make the story even more immersive. Nonetheless, this audiobook is a must-listen for fans of mystery and suspense, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a thrilling listen.
