Listening to 'Saving Sunflower' is like being on a rollercoaster ride through the streets of New Orleans, with every twist and turn revealing another layer of Dominic's haunted past. Morae Brehon's narration of Dominic is nothing short of brilliant, his voice capturing the character's raw, unfiltered emotions with a depth that's almost palpable. Leon Nixon's narration of the female characters adds a beautiful, nuanced layer to the story, preventing it from becoming a one-note tale of redemption. The pacing is perfect, never rushing through the emotional highs and lows, allowing the story to breathe and unfold organically. My only critique? The ending felt a tad too neat, but it's a minor quibble in an otherwise outstanding audiobook.
