Schwarze Piste

I devoured Schwarze Piste in one sitting, drawn in by the atmospheric setting and Föhr's deft plotting. Michael Schwarzmaier's narration is superb, bringing a wry humor to the characters that makes them feel like old friends. The pacing is well-balanced, with Föhr expertly ratcheting up the tension as the mystery deepens. My only quibble is that some of the supporting characters feel a tad underdeveloped, and a few plot twists feel slightly predictable. Still, these are minor complaints in an otherwise outstanding audiobook. The production quality is top-notch, with clear and crisp audio that makes for a seamless listening experience.
