As someone who appreciates a well-crafted mystery with a healthy dose of suspense, I was immediately drawn into the world of Scorched Line. Megan Tusing's narration is top-notch, perfectly capturing the nuances of the characters and the atmosphere of the Sandhills. Her portrayal of the complex dynamics between Kate, Marguerite, and the other residents adds depth to the story, making it feel authentic and engaging. Tusing's pacing keeps listeners on the edge of their seats, with just enough tension to keep the story moving forward. The only critique I have is that some of the supporting characters could have been fleshed out more, as they felt a bit underdeveloped at times. Nonetheless, Scorched Line is a must-listen for fans of mystery and thriller audiobooks.
