AudioBook Atlas

Taylor Meskimen's narration is the star of the show here. With a voice that's equal parts strength and vulnerability, she perfectly captures the spirit of Cass, our intrepid diver heroine. Meskimen's ability to bring the diverse cast of characters to life is commendable, making the audiobook a joy to listen to. The pacing is spot on, building tension and suspense with each dive into the mist-covered cities. However, some of the world-building could have been more fleshed out, as I found myself wanting to know more about the history of this world and the origins of the deadly mist. But these are minor critiques in an otherwise engaging listen. If you're a fan of YA sci-fi with a dash of romance and a whole lot of adventure, Secrets in the Mist is a must-listen.
